WHEN Bob Duzal was playing bocce with some friends last month he never thought he would stumble across a lost wedding ring.
The St Albans resident was enjoying his daily game at Green Gully Reserve when he noticed the sun catch on something gold and immediately went to see what it was.
Low and behold, Mr Duzal was surprised when he spotted a man’s wedding ring and has been trying to find its owner ever since.
Mr Duzal and his wife Eva are calling on anyone who recently lost a white gold and yellow gold band with words engraved on the inside to come forward.
Mrs Duzal said the couple understands the significance of a wedding ring and hoped the owner would claim it soon.
“It would be very important to this person,” she said. “I really hope someone reads this and comes forward to claim the ring. Wedding rings are very special.
“Maybe there is someone out there who can’t remember where they put it and are looking for it now.”
Anyone who believes this may be their ring can contact 9356 0562.
