Laptop, mobile stolen

DETECTIVES from the Transit Criminal Investigation Unit are on the hunt for five men who robbed a teenager in Sunshine last week.
The 17-year-old was waiting for a bus at the Dickson St bus exchange about 3pm on Wednesday when five men of Pacific Islander appearance pulled up in a late model Ford Laser hatchback in front of him asking for cigarettes.
When the teenager refused, two men got out of the car and patted him down, taking a mobile phone from his pocket. Meanwhile, the Transit Unit is also investigating another robbery committed by five men on Tuesday night. A 44-year-old Caroline Springs man was walking from Albion Station to a bus stop in Ballarat Rd when he was approached by five men; one of them revealed a large knife before demanding the victim’s laptop.
