WERRIBEE Football Club members will be among those paying tribute to club legend Ray Smith, who died last week.
Smith was elected a club legend in 2004, after serving Werribee in various roles, including being the club’s initial secretary in 1965-1975. He was also a life member of the VFA/VFL.
His funeral will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1.30pm at St Andrews Church in Werribee.
Werribee players wore black armbands on Saturday to honour Smith and his service to the club.
