AN ALTONA Meadows resident was left with head injuries after he was assaulted in Spencer St, Melbourne on Sunday 29 July.
The 32-year-old male was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital suffering cranial injuries after the incident, which occurred at around 4.10am.
Shortly afterwards, police charged a 37-year-old South Australia man with recklessly causing serious injury and other assault-related offences.
He was been bailed by police to attend the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in October.
