BRIMBANK youths enjoyed a sunny start to the new year by splashing about in the water at St Albans Leisure Centre last week. With temperatures soaring past 30 degrees, 10-year-old Emily, left, and six-year-old Jacqueline cooled down in the outdoor pool to escape the heat. St Albans Leisure Centre will hold an open day for Brimbank residents on Saturday 12 January. Entry to the pool will be free between noon and 3pm.
