FIVE teenagers have been arrested after a crime spree across the West last week.
The teens allegedly used a slingshot to damage several bus shelters, a house and at least one shop between 8pm and 10.15pm on Wednesday 2 November.
The incidents occurred throughout Altona, Altona Meadows, Altona North, Hoppers Crossing, Laverton, Newport, Williamstown and Werribee.
Police charged a 19-year-old Sunshine West man with reckless conduct endangering serious injury, criminal damaging and discharging a missile.
The man was also charged with driving while suspended and police have impounded his Holden Commodore sedan under the hoon laws.
The 19-year-old has been bailed and will appear before the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court in February next year.
A 15 and 16-year-old girl from Werribee and two boys from Wyndham Vale, both aged 17, have each been charged with reckless conduct endangering serious injury, criminal damage and discharging a missile.
All four youths have been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
A police spokesperson was unable to comment on whether the damage was gang-related.
