MELTON City residents registering their beloved dogs and cats for the first time only have another day to receive a registration discount for microchipping their animal.
Responsible pet owners like Caroline Springs resident Christiana Zovko, pictured, here with her treasured Staffordshire terrier April, have until 10 April to receive the discount after which time a new fee schedule for pet registration will come into effect. Dog registration fees in the City of Melton vary from $16 to $150, with discounts for pensioners’ dogs and no costs for guide dogs. Cat registration fees range from $8.50 to $50.
