Passion in fashion

By NICOLE VALICEK

TWO sisters who have brought their own unique brand of fashion, style and poise to Williamstown want to inspire ladies in the West.
Adella and Hannah Greenwood opened the doors to clothing boutique Grace and Willow less than a year ago and already have developed a strong customer base and garnered interest from international buyers.
“Our successful entry into Melbourne’s fashion retail industry is due to the years of established buying knowledge, customer service skills and overall retail experience and above all a passion and flair for fashion and the current style trends,” Adella said.
The boutique represents some of Australia’s most established and recognised labels including White Suede, SENSO Shoes, Bec and Bridge, TALULAH, Shona Joy, Steele and Finders Keepers.
“We have bought something fresh to Williamstown,” Adella said.
The ladies are getting ready to launch an online store and have plans to launch their own label next year.
“We both love our fashion and were really passionate about it,” Adella said.
“If we’re here in seven months it’s nice to think where we will be in seven years.”
She said the boutique could be described as a Chapel Street feel with a casual edge matched by the beach location.
“We’ve got a good brand mix of high-end labels mixed with really well-priced items,” Adella said.
Adella said a big drawcard for the boutique was that they catered for a range of ages from women in their thirties, forties and fifties to the younger generation.
“We research our customers/market in order to gain an understanding of what they want and match this knowledge with our buying.”
“It’s important to have a great product and excellent customer service skills. I think we’ve nailed both of those.”
