Park time is here

HUNDREDS of Brimbank residents are expected to flock to Ardeer and Albion this weekend to celebrate this year’s Neighbourhood Festival. Now in its second year, the festival has been spearheaded by the Albion and Ardeer Community Club as a way of fostering community spirit. Club president Robert Jackson, right, said attendees would begin celebrations at the Ardeer Community Playground, then walk to Selwyn Park in Albion and along the shores of Kororoit Creek. Festival-goers have even more reason to celebrate this year, with the announcement of a new community garden, which will begin to take shape at Selwyn Park in the coming weeks. The Albion Ardeer Neighbourhood Festival will be held on Sunday 14 November from 10am at the Ardeer Community Playground. Attendees will walk to Selwyn Park at 11am.HUNDREDS of Brimbank residents are expected to flock to Ardeer and Albion this weekend to celebrate this year’s Neighbourhood Festival.
