An article in last week’s edition of Star (Gas log concern, 03/07/12) stated that Hobsons Bay Council had received a planning permit application from a company wishing to fumigate logs using the ozone-depleting gas methyl bromide.
In fact, the application related to the fumigation of shipping containers – not logs. The mistake was made by a reporter.
