Hit and runaway thieves

A BRAZEN thief who stole a $50,000 Holden Commodore while it was parked at traffic lights in Brooklyn last Wednesday is being sought by police.
Investigators have been told that the white 2010 HSV had stopped at the Grieve Parade traffic lights about 5am, when it was hit from behind by another vehicle.
The driver stepped out of his car and approached two men who were travelling in a grey 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla.
At this point, a passenger of the Corolla jumped into the Holden Commodore with the registration YXB 902 and sped off.
Police are seeking public assistance to locate the stolen Commodore and the two men who were travelling in the Toyota Corolla.
The driver was described as Caucasian in appearance, 20 to 25 years old, around 175cm tall, with a slim build, blue eyes and fair hair. He was wearing a black beanie, jacket and pants.
The passenger was described as Caucasian in appearance, 25 to 30 years old, around 180cm tall, with a medium build, blue eyes and ginger/blonde hair. He was wearing a black beanie, jacket and pants.
It is believed the Toyota Corolla had a ā€˜Yā€™ and ā€˜Nā€™ on its registration plate and police are urging anyone with information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
