Brimbank happy with app

BRIMBANK City Council has launched a new app called ‘MyBrimbank’.
Brimbank’s chief administrator John Watson said the app would enable residents to interact with the council in a whole new way.
“Using the app to report issues like dumped rubbish, fallen trees or graffiti is easy,” he said.
“You can even take a photo of the issue and send it straight to us from your smart phone or computer.”
The MyBrimbank app also allows people to type in their address for access to personalised information regarding the council’s waste services.
“In this digital day and age it is important for service-rich organisations such as local government to be up-to-the minute with the latest technology as this helps us deliver enhanced customer service,” Mr Watson said.
“This app is the perfect example of tapping into the latest tools to streamline our customer service, allowing for improved response times and making processes easier for everyone.”
To access the app, download it to your phone or tablet free-of-charge from the Android Play Store or Apple App Store, which are listed at brimbank.vic.gov.au
