SCRIBING, story-telling and street art have been the subject of many events happing across Brimbank as part of the city council’s Writers and Readers Festival.
On Friday, a pop-up story space was set up at the Sunshine Arts Spaces Gallery, with residents invited in to listen to a tale, create a picture or relax while reading a book.
The gallery will also host a Stencil the Streets event on Friday 13 September.
Residents can take part in the all-ages drop-in session at the gallery between 3.30-6.30pm.
Take the opportunity to use stencil art to spray a poem, script or message onto the pavement around the arts centre.
The Sunshine Arts Spaces Gallery is located at 11 Sun Crescent, Sunshine. Contact9249 4181 or writersfestival@brimbank.vic.gov.au for more information. 105118 Picture: DAMJAN JANEVSKI
