STUDENTS at Derrimut Primary School are set to make a splash this Thursday when they share knowledge about the environment and sustainability.
Students like Mehar, Jazz and Harvey, pictured, help take care of the school’s wetlands area in Brimbank Gardens.
On Thursday, more than 100 students and teachers from schools across Melbourne’s North and West will attend an event at the wetlands as part of the Target Kids Teaching Kids Week.
The campaign encourages children to teach each other about climate change, water, waste, conservation, and energy.
On Friday, Copperfield College will present the ‘2013 Sustainable Schools Youth Conference – The Year of International Water’ at the Westvale Community Centre in St Albans
