Teen arrested in Deer Park

AN 18-YEAR-OLD has been arrested by police in Deer Park after a two month manhunt.
Police began the search for Joshua Naggs in August after an incident in Roxburgh Park in which a car drove at police, forcing an officer to fire shots at the car.
Naggs was arrested at 10am at a house in Huddersfield Rd and has been charged with one count of theft of motor car, four counts of theft, two counts of reckless conduct endangering life, two counts of failing to appear on bail, four counts of unlicensed driving and various traffic matters.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates Court on 11 November, 2011.
In an unrelated incident, a 16-year-old St Albans teen was charged by police following an assault on a man
in Maryborough.
The assault occurred in a car park at around 6.30pm on Saturday.
The 16-year-old has been charged with recklessly cause serious injury, intentionally and recklessly cause injury, and unlawful assault.
He has been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
