A FRESH approach to dance that offers its students fun-filled classes that are informative and exciting has burst onto the Hobsons Bay scene.
The Empire of Dance and Performing Arts (TEDP) has shared its love of dance with many Melbourne regions and has arrived at the Laverton, Williamstown, Altona and Footscray areas.
Altona Meadows Community Centre will be the new grounds for the dance movement.
TEDP director Kylie said it was a place for everything hip hop and street styles, and offers some performing arts classes.
“We dance because we love it and want others to share in that same passion dance can bring,” Kylie said.
TEDP holds break-dance, street funk, dance crews, urban choreography and krump that are all offered in beginner to advanced styles and designed to inspire every aspiring dancer/performer.
Kylie said classes are affordable and full of fun and expertise.
“We love hip hop, performing and all things dance, and crews would love to share that with everyone. You don’t have to be an expert at dance just have a love for wanting to try.”
All Instructors are currently in some of Melbourne’s best dance crews along with professional hip hop choreographers with a string of championship titles.
“TEDP is a welcoming family friendly school that offers programs to all ages and all levels and creates some great dance crews and dancers and showcases them across Melbourne,” Kylie said.
“Dancers can come along to classes for fun or compete in some of Melbourne’s best hip hop community and dance competitions locally and interstate.”
Classes start from $110 for a beginner (no experience).
