Police appeal for stabbing witness

A MAN sustained stab wounds to his chest after he was attacked at a Keilor Downs home in December last year.
Brimbank police have appealed for anyone with information about the stabbing to come forward.
Detective Senior Constable Seann Fraser, from the Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit, said the attack occurred at around 8am on 22 December.
Det Sen Const Fraser said a 22-year-old male resident was stabbed multiple times at a residential address in Heysham Place.
The victim was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious chest injuries after the attack.
Det Sen Const Fraser said police believe a single male offender who was involved in the crime departed from the home in a dark-coloured sedan shortly afterwards.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident or who observed a dark-coloured vehicle leaving at around that time, please contact police,” Det Sen Const Fraser said.
Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
