SUNSHINE has pulled off an exciting recruiting coup in the lead up to the Western Region Football League season, signing former Western Bulldogs utility Mitch Hahn.
It was originally thought Hahn would play for Essendon District Football League side Hillside in 2013 however, Sharks coach Steve Kolyniuk confirmed Hahn’s change of plans last week.
Hahn began his AFL career with the Bulldogs in 2000, playing eight games in his first season.
He went on to play 181 games in total, including the club’s three preliminary final losses from 2008 to 2010.
Since retiring he has taken up a coaching role at the Collingwood Football Club.
