A WORKSHOP designed to educate women in asset management, health and that will inspire each participant to reach their full potential is coming to Williamstown.
The third of its kind the Wealthy, Health and Wise Women Workshop will be held on Monday 18 March at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria, Williamstown.
Bendigo Bank financial planner Adrienne Rush and co -founder of the workshops said it’s vital that women understand they need to be in control of their finances.
“They shouldn’t leave it up to somebody else in their lives to do it, because if somebody else doesn’t do it or their life changes they’re not going to be standing on their own two feet,” Ms Rush said.
Ms Rush, who will be one of three guest speakers at the event, will educate women about the importance of creating awareness and financial literacy.
“Increasing financial awareness is important. A lot of women don’t take control they leave it up to their partners and I think it’s really important for the relationship that here is a shared responsibility.”
Dr Nicole Yap will share her expert knowledge and key findings on preventing and managing breast cancer as part of the session.
Participants will also hear from seven-time world champion surfer Layne Bea who will share her story and explain what she did to overcome adverse challenges to achieve her dream.
“It is fantastic networking, women who met each other can connect and it’s an opportunity to make lifelong relationships and friends.”
All proceeds from the night go to three charities that all support women. Book online at www.trybooking.com/42477.
