A ST ALBANS man was threatened with weapons before being robbed in St Albans last week.
The 20-year-old was walking home from the station along Lovell Drive, near Linda Place, when he passed a man carrying a baseball bat at around 9pm on 3 September.
The victim was surrounded by two other men, one carrying a pocket knife.
The man carrying the baseball bat made demands for his phone and money, which the victim handed over.
The trio searched the man’s bag, but fled without taking anything else.
Police attended and searched the area but found no trace of the men.
The men are described as being of Asian appearance. Brimbank’s Embona taskforce is investigating the matter. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au
