AN Altona Meadows man has been arrested in relation to a residential burglary in Hoddle Way, Altona Meadows.
It is alleged that the 40-year-old stole garden tools and alcohol from the residence on Tuesday last week.
The arrest was made the following day.
The man was granted bail by a Bail Justice in an out-of-sessions remand hearing.
Meanwhile a Yarraville woman has been charged with one count of theft and 10 counts of obtaining property by deception after she allegedly stole two bankcards from a business in Williamstown earlier this month.
It is alleged the 23-year-old woman attended at the Altona Gate Shopping Centre and used the cards to purchase $3500 worth of items from various stores in the complex.
A search warrant was executed at the Yarraville address where the property was allegedly recovered.
Hobsons Bay CIU detectives have also charged a Williamstown woman with two counts of aggravated burglary, theft, criminal damage and possessing the proceeds of crime, this month.
It is alleged stolen items were found at the Williamtown home as a result of a search warrant.
The 35-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear in at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on 16 March.
