A 49-YEAR-OLD Hillside man appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court last week, after police found an amephetamines lab in his shed.
Members of the Altona North Divisional Response Unit (DRU) and investigators from the Clandestine Laboratory Squad executed a warrant at Hawkesbury Ave around 10.30am on Wednesday 7 September.
Police discovered the clandestine laboratory in the garage, as well as an extensive amount of chemicals.
The 49-year-old was charged with possession of articles for the manufacture of a drug of dependence as well as trafficking amphetamines.
