Police hunt road rage attacker

POLICE are investigating a road rage incident which occurred on the Western Ring Road in Sunshine West in November 2013.
It is believed the victim was cut off by a small dark grey Hyundai Excel hatchback while driving between Ballarat and Boundary roads on 28 November 2013, about 12.30pm.
The two cars stopped in the far left emergency lane where the victim was punched in the face by the driver of the Excel and further attacked after falling to the ground.
He was then left unconscious on the side of the road.
Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their inquiries.
He is described as Middle Eastern in appearance, aged in his late twenties to early thirties, around 175cm to 178cm tall with short dark hair and was wearing a red or pink hoodie and black pants.
The passenger is also described as Middle Eastern in appearance, around 183cm with a slim build and was also wearing a red or pink hoodie and black pants.
