BRIMBANK residents have embraced the Food for Fines program with hundreds of food items donated to libraries across the municipality. After less than a week of the initiative being launched, 800 items were donated. The Amnesty on Library Fines program offered customers the opportunity to donate non-perishable food in exchange for clearing any other overdue fines from their library card.
