THREE Brimbank residents have been arrested after police launched an investigation into illegal drug activity in Hillside and Sunshine North.
The Clandestine Laboratory Squad and Brimbank police recently executed a search warrant at a residential property in The Regency, Hillside.
Scott Hamilton, 41, from Hillside, was arrested at the property and charged with a number of offences including possessing equipment and implements for drug manufacturing and possessing pre-cursor chemicals for the manufacture of illicit drugs.
He was remanded to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 6 May.
A 34-year-old Sunshine man and a 37-year-old woman from Hillside were arrested around at a commercial address in McIntyre Rd, Sunshine North.
They were both released pending summons application regarding a number of drug-related offences.
A second warrant was executed at the Sunshine North address as part of the ongoing investigation.
