PERFECTLY primped pooches and their doting owners will get a chance to strut their stuff this weekend as the RSPCA hosts its annual Million Paws Walk.
Dog lovers and their canines, like Caroline Springs resident Alana Sirianni and her beloved Bulldog Douglas, are being encouraged to don their walking shoes, get out their pet’s most glamorous leash and spend this Sunday raising money for the RSPCA’s vital work.
Funds raised through the walk registrations, merchandise sales and online fund-raising will go towards RSPCA programs, adoption, veterinary services and campaigns.
With support from the community, the RSPCA provides refuge to animals that are lost, abandoned or rescued from cruelty and offers each animal a second chance at happiness.
City of Melton residents are being encouraged to register online at http://www.millionpawswalk.com.au
The walk will commence at 10am from Naven Park, corner Centenary Ave and Coburns Rd, Melton.
