That’s why their business has been so successful for more than a decade and continues to grow.
The owners of Exclusive Homes and Development in Melton build stylish yet affordable homes and always ensure their clients have as much input into the design as possible.
And personal contact is high on their list of priorities.
“We employ a lot of tradespeople, but our clients only have to deal with myself, Ted or our salesman,” Mrs Caruana said.
“We deal one on one with our clients and people find it comforting to speak directly to the builder and get their questions answered straight away.”
This friendly service is only one of the reasons why they won the Best Trade and Construction Business in last year’s Melton Business Awards and they can’t see any reason why they won’t be successful again.

Despite the financial crisis, Mrs Caruana said the company is busier than ever before and built close to 100 homes last year.
“Melton is such a fast growing suburb and there is a huge demand for homes.
“We gain a lot of our clients through word of mouth which is the best advertising. We’re very determined and focussed.”
