DEER PARK resident Sara Salmeron is making her dreams come true one runway step at a time.
The 21-year-old beauty this year decided to take a break from further study, after graduating from a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at RMIT.
Instead of enrolling into a Bachelor of Physiotherapy she enrolled in a 14- week Modelling and Finishing Course, and the all-rounder is now focusing her attention on fashion and the run way.
“I had been thinking about it for a few years, but never really put it into action. I finally found I was confident enough to give it a go,” Sara said.
Now Sara is in the running to be the next Australian Super Model of the Year.
She entered the competition with the hope of taking her new-found passion to the next level.
“I would love the chance to be scouted by a reputable agency,” she said.
“I hope that this will kick off my modelling career and send me in the direction that I’ve been dreaming of,” she said.
The six-foot tall model said she had not always been comfortable with her height, but was now embracing it and was positive with her new journey and the opportunities ahead.
“Growing up being tall is not very comfortable, but then as you develop as a person you slowly feel more comfortable and confident with yourself and I thought I would love to embrace everything that I’ve been born with,” she said.
