Hoon biker

A MOTORCYCLE detected travelling 128 kilometres per hour in a 70 zone has been impounded by police.
The rider of the 2005 Suzuki motorcycle was intercepted last Wednesday night at 8.30pm.
The 33-year-old male (who was the owner of the bike) from Altona is expected to be charged on summons, with the bike being impounded for 30 days under the hoon laws. 
In addition to the court imposed penalties of a mandatory 12 month loss of licence and substantial fines, the rider will also have to pay $637 to have his bike returned to him on 8 June.
