Cops take BMW

A MAN had his BMW impounded by police after he was caught travelling almost 70 kilometres above the speed limit in Keilor Downs on 9 April.
The 29-year-old driver was detected by police officers as he travelled at 137km in a 70km zone at the corner of Taylors Rd and East Esplanade at 5.30am.
His vehicle was impounded for 30 days under the Victorian Government’s anti-hoon legislation.
A police statement said they expected the Caroline Springs man to be charged on summons with various traffic related offences.
