Pregnant woman shaken in crash

A YOUNG pregnant woman was taken to hospital after a car crash in Delahey last Wednesday.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the accident to come forward to help with their investigation, including a driver who supplied the victims with the van’s registration.
Brimbank Highway Patrol Senior Constable Jackie Loveday said at around 6.40pm, a white 1994 model Toyota Hiace van went through a roundabout at the inter-section of Kings Rd and Taylors Rd.
The van allegedly collided with another car, in which the pregnant 21-year-old Hillside resident was a passenger.
She was taken to hospital after the accident but later released.
A male has been assisting police with their inquiries, but police have asked anyone else to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Sunshine Police Station on 9313 3333, and ask for Sen Const Loveday.
