AROUND 50 photographs taken by Victorian school students will be displayed at the Hunt Club community arts centre in Deer Park from Wednesday.
World Hepatitis Day was held in July, an international event to raise awareness of hepatitis B and C and its prevention.
To mark the occasion, Hepatitis Victoria held the Street Shot 2013 photography exhibition, a promotion using photography to raise young people’s awareness about viral hepatitis.
Street Shot 2013 involved educating young people about hepatitis and inviting them to submit photography with accompanying essays, reflecting what they had learned.
Dr Sally ‘Feelgood’ Cockburn and football identity Jeff ‘Joffa’ Corfe judged the competition.
The resulting exhibition of around 50 images will be on display at The Hunt Club community arts centre at 775 Ballarat Rd in Deer Park.
