A WOMAN told police she was speared with a syringe when two men robbed her on 7 November in a Deer Park shopping centre car park.
The victim, aged 40, said she was leaving the Neale Rd retail plaza’s southern exit and walking in the car park, when two males approached her from behind around 12.15pm.
The woman said they grabbed hold of her bag, forced it over her head and threatened to poke her with a needle.
Police said the woman then felt two pricks in the back of her right arm and the offenders fled with the woman’s bag, which contained a Visa card and cash.
Police appealed for anyone who witnessed the daylight attack to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
