ANDREW Webb has been forced to step down as head coach of Sunshine Cricket Club due to work commitments.
Webb, who runs his own business, coached and played his last game for the season on Saturday.
Webb said he expected assistant coach Romain Grenville and first XI captain Troy Stone to share coaching duties.
“It’s not something that I’m happy about,” Webb said. “I’ve started something for the year and I’d love to be there and help everyone but at this stage I have to step away from the club.” Webb said his commitments as a coach and first XI bowler were compromising his ability to properly run his business.
