WOMEN across the City of Melton are being encouraged to celebrate the sisterhood next month at the 2014 Woodgrove City of Melton Women in Business Breakfast.
The event will mark International Women’s Day and is an opportunity for business people to network with other local businesses and hear a motivating presentation from one of the greatest aerial skiers of all time, Jacqui Cooper.
Cooper will share her philosophy on the attributes of a successful person and the parallel components between sport and business.
Melton mayor Bob Turner said attending the business breakfast would provide many benefits for local female business owners and professionals.
“The council is dedicated to helping new and emerging businesses develop and prosper,” Cr Turner said.
“Attending events such as this not only gives business people the opportunity to hear from motivational speakers, but also provides vital networking opportunities with other local businesses.
“I encourage business owners and professionals to attend the breakfast to hear Jacqui’s inspiring story of self-belief, passion, triumph and the ability to overcome adversity.”
The business breakfast will be held on Tuesday, 4 March at WestWaters Hotel in Caroline Springs between 7.30am and 9.30am.
Cost is $55 per head with full breakfast included. Group bookings are also available. Bookings are essential.
