ST ALBANS residents and business owners can find the best of their beloved suburb in just a few clicks thanks to a new website.
‘This is St Albans’ is an initiative of the St Albans Business Group Association and was developed with the support of Brimbank City Council.
The website provides a guide for the shopping district, with a business directory and information on local events.
Chair of Administrators Peter Lewinsky, who launched the site on Friday, said council wanted to focus on developing Brimbank’s town centres.
“We are committed to developing our town centres and smaller urban villages into a network of safe, attractive, vibrant, liveable and prosperous places, where residents can access a range of retail, social activities, employment and residential opportunities,” Mr Lewinsky said.
The development of the ‘This is St Albans’ website is a direct outcome of the St Albans Town Centre Marketing and Branding Strategy.
“This is St Albans is all about showcasing the unique attributes of the St Albans shopping centre, providing information about local events, a business directory and shining a light on local businesses,” Mr Lewinsky said.
“It is our aim that the website will build exposure of St Albans throughout Brimbank and the wider western region of Melbourne.”
The website will be maintained by the St Albans Business Group Association.
