Restaurants made famous by Masterchef judge George Calombaris are heading to Williamstown.
THE HOBSONS Bay Hotel freehold has been sold to the Made Establishment Group, headed by
four directors including Mr Calombaris and Mr George Sykiotis.
Made Establishment are planning to substantially refurbish the iconic pub, with city
and waterfront views, into a stylish, versatile venue boasting their hugely successful
brands Hellenic Republic and Jimmy Grants.
Mitchell Humphreys and James Gregson of Fitzroys brokered the sale of the hotel, located at 28 Ferguson St, Williamstown to the Made Establishment Group.
“Upon inspection of the property the group visualised the pub’s potential for some of their key brands and confidently purchased the freehold,” Mr Humphreys said.
