HOBSONS Bay Yacht Club and Hobsons Bay Sport and Game Fishing Club are set to receive $2708 from a State Government program.
The funding, delivered through the Boating Safety and Facilities Program, will be used for conducting a powerboat handling course, valued at $2250 and 2 VHF transceivers and hand held radios worth $458.
Member for Altona, Lynne Kosky, said the clubs were one of 133 similar groups from around Victoria to receive funding this year.
