HOBSONS Bay Council will now launch a radio-style program on its website following the success of Pelican Post, a weekly newspaper.
“Baychat, a magazine-style audio program is the first program of its type for any municipal council in Victoria,” mayor Carl Marsich said.
“The program will not only feature council news and events, but interviews with community members and traders.”
The 20-minute weekly program, which has been prepared by a professional radio announcer, was expected to be launched last week.
