ALTONA Life Saving Club’s top athletes competed at the 2012 Victorian Lifesaving Championships last weekend.
Altona’s Adrian Sardelic finished sixth in the under 19 Men’s two kilometre run, while the club also gained valuable competition experience in the surf boat racing.
Ten competitors from Altona embraced the chance to battle with the best from across the state to put their lifesaving skills to the test.
Life Saving Victoria Manager Aquatic Sports, Drew Urlichs said this year’s state carnival saw fierce competition across all events.
