MARIBYRNONG College students Stephanie Normington-Dickens, Bronte James and Mie Inoue were among the lucky students to meet Australian soccer and cricket star Ellyse Perry on Thursday. The prodigious athlete conducted a clinic with the college’s soccer and cricket athletes and had a mentoring session with Bronte, a Year 7 student who is a state cricketer and state soccer player. Perry made her debut for Australia’s cricket and soccer team at the age of 16, making her the youngest athlete to represent an Australian cricket side. She was also the first Australian woman to represent her country at both the cricket and soccer world cups. 71943 Picture: KRISTIAN SCOTTMARIBYRNONG College students Stephanie Normington-Dickens, Bronte James and Mie Inoue were among the lucky students to meet Australian soccer and cricket star Ellyse Perry on Thursday.
