MELBOURNE Park won’t be the only tennis venue rocking this Australia Day.
With the Australian Open Men’s Final taking place this Sunday, Sunshine Park Tennis Club has also put its hand up as the perfect Australia Day destination.
The club is hosting a special day of tennis and fun for the whole community.
Activities will include the tennis hot shots program, serve speed competition, jumping castle, barbecue as well as a cup cake competition which will be judged by TV personality Maria Vella from the Great Australian Bakeoff.
To finish the action packed day, there will also be a fireworks display just after 9pm.
The club is encouraging as many people as possible from the community to come down and enjoy the fun.
The event will be held at JR Parsons Reserve, Stanford Street Sunshine on Sunday 26 January, from 4pm.
