A TOURISM Fest in the West will be held on Tuesday 18 February to bring together industry operators for a day of networking and professional development in Williamstown.
The forum will focus on best practice, industry trends, ‘future’ workshops and facilitated discussions on emerging opportunities for the tourism industry in the West.
Comedian Dave O’Neil will act as the forum’s MC and other keynote speakers will include former premier Steve Bracks and ‘destination marketing guru’ Simon McArthur.
The forum will be followed by networking drinks at The Boathouse on the Maribyrnong River from 6pm.
This event will be held by Western Melbourne Tourism Inc (WMT), a regional tourism cooperative funded with support from Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Wyndham, Moonee Valley, Melton and Maribyrnong City Councils.
