IT IS no croak – Stella Blay will be recording frog warblings at the Kangaroo Wetlands in Newport and Stony Creek in Yarraville across the next few weeks. Ms Blay will be chronicling the amphibians croaking as part of Melbourne Water’s Frog Census – which is held due to concerns about the decline in frog rates across metropolitan areas. The census results will be analysed and uploaded to the census website to provide a Frog Field Guide for Melbourne. The frog census is searching for more volunteers to record frogs.
