TAYLORS Lakes resident Kahlia Warner claimed a silver medal at the Australian Open diving championships held earlier this month.
Warner and partner Anna Gelai achieved a judges score at 279.81 points in the 3m synchronised diving event, behind the gold medal winning pair of Esther Qin (NSW) and Brittany Broben (Qld).
Warner, 16, also reached the final of the 10m platform, finishing seventh overall.
At the Open State championships two weeks prior, Warner and Gelai won the 3m synchro event, snared a silver in the 1m, and won a bronze in both the 3m and platform events.
At the Australian Open, Warner also snuck into the finals of the 3m platform where she finished 12th, and missed out on the finals by one spot in the 1m event.
