THEATRE lovers across Brimbank are assured of a great night out next month as Secret Bridesmaids Business hits the stage.
Director Rachael Holt said the play, which tells the tale of a bride who finds out the night before her wedding that her husband has been having an affair, will have its audience in raptures.
“It’s definitely a play young women would enjoy but everyone will be able to have a laugh,” Ms Holt said.
“And it might keep men on their toes.”
However the group is still in the midst of casting the only male performer and are calling on anyone interested to contact the Sunshine Community Theatre.
Ms Holt said it was important the community got behind such productions as the theatre had struggled in the past, but was hopefully on the rise again.
“Good performances are paramount togetting a bigger audience and more peopleinvolved.
“It’s difficult letting people know we’re out there.
“But the theatre is very important to the community.”
She promised audiences a “great night” and said it was a good opportunity to see the local talent in action.
