ORGANISING a wedding involves juggling many tasks and balancing the wishes of both bride and groom.
But balancing is something Ariel Barralle and Kyrra-Lee Pimblett have in common – in addition to their love for each other.
The pair, who are both aerialists with Circus Latino, were married under the big top last Tuesday at Sunshine Marketplace.
The bride wore a beautiful white dress adorned with flowers and the couple said their vows under the pink and blue stage lights of the circus tent.
Their wedding cake stand was topped with a miniature replica of the Circus Latino tent and their guests sat in ringside seats around the area.
The circus left town last week for its next location, although life will continue as normal for Ariel and Kyrra for a while.
“We both love circus and we love our lives together,” Kyrra said.
“We will get a honeymoon at the end of the year. But every day is a honeymoon for us.”
Kyrra said Ariel proposed two years ago and they have been planning the wedding for three months.
“I have loved everything about today including the pink Hummer limo, I was very excited about that, and my husband looked very smart all dressed up,” Kyrra said.
“It’s not very common to get married under the big top.”
Celebrant Georgie Fisher, who was a school teacher at Circus Royale when Kyrra was a primary pupil, flew in from Queensland to officiate the Sunshine ceremony.
“I consider it a privilege and a pleasure,” Ms Fisher said.
