TAKE a walk into this Taylors Hill home and you are sure to be terrified.
The Cataldo family doesn’t celebrate Halloween half-heartedly, they adorn their home with enormous creepy crawlies, ghosts, skeletons and the odd life-size cut-out of some of Hollywood’s scariest movie characters.
Nadia Cataldo said it’s a tradition her mother, Maria, began three years ago, and it continues to get bigger and better every year.
She said the family have always dreamed of travelling to America and after the passing of their father, Maria decided it was time to bring a little bit of the US to Taylors Hill.
“It was meant to start off with just a few decorations, but nothing is just a few with my mum,” Nadia said.
“The only rule she has is everyone has to come in costume. It’s a big party and really just an excuse for everyone to get together and have a laugh.”
