A FAMOUS Australian rock star will perform at the Williamstown RSL on 26 October.
Ross Wilson and The Peaceniks will appear at the Way Out West Roots Music Club @ Williamstown RSL as part of their Spring Carnival of Rock.
Mr Wilson’s latest album ‘I Come In Peace’ has released three singles after his career spanning several decades at the top of the Australian music scene.
Mr Wilson was a member of the legendary Aussie band Daddy Cool and wrote their iconic song ‘Eagle Rock’.
He was also in Mondo Rock – a band famous for tunes including Cool World, Come Said the Boy, State of the Heart and Summer of ‘81.
Mr Wilson has also been producer of Skyhooks, Jo Jo Zep and The Screaming Jets.
Mr Wilson’s songs have been recorded by artists such as Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham, Custard, Troy Cassar-Daley, Leslie Avril, Hey Gringo, You Am I, Uncle Bill, Renee Geyer, Christine Anu, Ann Kirkpatrick and Lee Kernaghan, Sovereign, Pleasantville, Beccy Cole, Sonic Jihad, and The Wiggles.
Mr Wilson’s Spring Carnival of Rock will include his solo hits and songs from the era of Mondo Rock and Daddy Cool.
