A TAXI crashed into a Sunshine home on Friday, while a family of four people were inside.
Police said the car was travelling south on Anderson Rd when it lost control and drove through the dividing fence of a property on Wright St, before coming to rest in the front verandah of a house around 3.30am.
SES personnel were called to lift up the roof of the patio so that the car could be removed.
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Delahey, allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.124 and was be taken to Sunshine police station for questioning.
